iPhones certainly have no shortage of funky, wacky, niche and sometimes downright pointless accessories. However, they also have their fair share of really, really cool ones.
One of the newest additions to the “awesome iPhone accessory” lineup is the GoPano Micro. The GoPano Micro attaches to the camera of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and takes 360 panoramic videos that can be viewed and scrolled around through while watching them, just like in Google street view.
The device itself is $80 and comes in 2 parts: a case that attaches to and protects your device and the GoPano lens itself which attaches to the case. The GoPano App is also required to run this funky accessory, but it’s free and can be readily found in the Apple App Store.
Unfortunately these videos can’t be uploaded to YouTube, but both Facebook and Twitter support the 360 panoramic view, so you can still show your friends your creations.
This is definitely a niche accessory, but we still think it’s cool. So tell us, do you think you know anyone who would buy one?
